Work Description:
Kings Cross St Pancras Station was being developed to cater for the growing numbers of people using it every day from 250,000 to an estimated 420,000 in 2010, it is one of the oldest and busiest on the network and serves six underground lines.
It is also the gateway to London for those using the national and from 2007, International rail service (Eurostar). ATE have provided specialist sprayed intumescent paint coatings to structural steelwork including the extensive firestopping installations of mechanical and electrical service runs through compartment walls and structural slab to ensure fire integrity and compartmentation is achieved, once again on time and within budget ATE have delivered with great results.
