Work Description:

The £6.1 million refurbishment of the North Wing of St Thomas’s Hospital included the deign, build and strip out of the hospital to create and ‘Airport style’ retail space and circulation area.

ATE secured the contract to spray apply intumescent coatings to newly erected steelwork to provide 60/90 minutes fire rating in addition to this the new M&E installations along with existing services required fire stopping with yet again an additional Acoustic requirement. Yet again the scale of the installation requirements were immense but the project was completed to program and on time.
